Our Five Pricing Models for DRC®

Market Index Forward®
Seasonal Index Forward®
Trend Tack®
Market Prospector®
Trend Trail®

Market Index Forward®

The Market Index Forward model prices equal amounts of grain automatically each trading day at the close of the market. You determine the amount of grain to sell over a specific time period and it automatically executes your plan. Compared to emotional, reactionary selling decisions, this strategy has proven to maximize profits over the longer term.

Seasonal Index Forward®

The Seasonal Index Forward model takes advantage of seasonal price patterns by targeting and automatically pricing grain during periods of historically higher or stronger pricing opportunities. You determine the number of pricing periods and the percentage of grain to be priced during each time period to have more flexibility in pricing.

Trend Trail®

The Trend Trail model prices grain at the first downturn following a market rally and prevents the emotion of the moment from delaying pricing decisions. This model provides more pricing parameter options and allows you to "ride the rally," yet capture prices just after the market peaks.

Trend Tack®

The Trend Tack model gains more control of pricing parameters and sets the range for determining a moving market index based on the previous day's closing prices. Grain is priced when the day's closing market price is within a specified range of a moving index you determine.

Market Prospector®

The Market Prospector model takes advantage of significant price rallies by pricing a portion of your grain during significant price rallies. Whenever the calculated market index exceeds your predetermined trigger level, this model prices grain and allows you to implement an aggressive pricing approach.
